I work directly with Ken Morrow, President of KCIce, 1980 U.S. Olympic 'Miracle on Ice' Team Player & 4-Time Stanley Cup Champion and Paul McGannon, Vice President of KCIce and Founder of NHL21, Inc.

Here are a few highlights:

The Outdoor Rink at Burlington Creek is situated in the center courtyard of the development next to the Bell Tower. The rink will be approximately 100’ by 80’, surrounded by a beautiful stainless steel railing and glass panels. In addition, the rink area will feature open fire pits, natural rock seating, and tree-lined planters.

During the holiday season, the rink will shine bright with twinkling trees and festive lighting for the plaza. On break from ice skating, patrons can enjoy a hot beverage and pastry from our skate shop. Others may enjoy fine dining from one of the nearby restaurants. Many will enjoy the Holiday Festival when Santa arrives to the Village at Burlington Creek on a sled to the center ice with goodies and holiday cheer for all in attendance.

During the summer months, the rink will feature two soft, white sand volleyball courts for yearlong center square entertainment. The courts will be open for volleyball leagues, tournaments and special events. The beautiful, stainless steel railing will remain in place allowing spectators a clear view of the action from all angles.

Please feel free to email me at mking@kcice.net if you would like more information. Volunteer skaters from the hockey and figure skating community will play a huge role by serving as On the Ice guards and mentors as a way to Give Back to the Community. The youth skaters are role models and will inspire potential future new skaters.

Take care,
MK

(Website Under Construction)Michelle Kinghttp://www.kcice.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4068327392150378852.post-37333001528207855232012-09-23T07:18:30.612-05:002012-09-23T07:18:30.612-05:00I ate dinner at Em Chamas last night, and my bet w...I ate dinner at Em Chamas last night, and my bet would be that this rink will be similar to the Ice Terrace - small, fun, recreational ice skating! Still a welcome addition to the Northland! Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
